ARTIST'S STATEMENT

I strive to create a balance between form and function in my work. Good design takes a problem and solves it in the most graceful way. In my illustrative and studio work, I like my art to tell a story and give insight to the way I see the world. After my creation of the work is done, the most important part is to invite the viewer to interpret my art introspectively. My art is often inspired by my life experiences. Although we may lead different lives, as humans we aren’t that different. I am successful if my art connects us.
