The hope and goal I have for interior design is much more than just creating an interior that is pleasing to the eye. Interior design for me is where you design a space to the best of your abilities that is functional, aesthetic, and age friendly. I believe Proverbs 24:3-4, “By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures,” is a perfect example of how interior designers can help others and give glory to God. All in all, I hope the talents the Lord has blessed me with not only can be helpful to others, but also provides opportunities where the Lord can be shown evidently through the designs I create.
