Emily Pearson

Ever since I can remember, I have had a passion for art. This passion has only deepened over the course of my life. Through my studies, I have had the opportunity to explore a variety of mediums. Recently, I have fallen in love with the art of papermaking. The idea of finding everyday objects and using them to create paper is exciting. This art form serves as a personal medium that allows me to express myself and tell my own unique story. However, I also enjoy painting, drawing, and mixed media as well. I am heavily inspired by nature which is evident throughout my artwork. I have always been in awe of the beauty and complexity of nature. Even as a child, I would spend most of my time outdoors because that is where I felt the freest and happy. I wanted to incorporate this and share my view of what nature means to me with others. This is why it is such a prevalent theme throughout my artwork. Art has served as a way for me to express myself, explore, and grow. I hope to be able to share my experience and passion for art with others!
